Heritage Mississauga will be streaming new and previous presentations on Mississauga’s historic people, places and events as part of our Saturday Matinee series every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.
Join us for another Saturday Matinee this week as we open our vault to feature one of our favorite presentations from 1999, “Tommy Adamson’s History of Erindale”.
Beloved local historian, William Thompson Blaine (Tommy) Adamson (1912-2001) was born and raised on the family farm where Erindale Secondary School is now located. He was one of five children born to Charles and Sarah (Bonham) Adamson: a sister Marjorie and brothers James, Harvey and Geoffrey. Tommy’s Great Grandfather was Doctor Joseph Adamson, one of the founding fathers of St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
#ApartTogether we will continue to research, record and celebrate the incredible people who are part of the fascinating history of Mississauga.
