Explore Mississauga’s Past: 2025 Walking Tours with Richard Collins
This summer and fall, discover Mississauga’s rich and layered history one step at a time with free walking tours led by local historian Richard Collins.
From lakeside legends and industrial transformations to forgotten landmarks and newly protected heritage sites, Richard’s tours offer a unique and engaging look at the people, places, and events that shaped Mississauga.
📅 Tours run from June through October 2025, and are held in Clarkson, Port Credit, Streetsville, Lakeview, and Aldershot. Each tour highlights a different aspect of our local history – whether it’s the story of a mansion built by strawberries, the mystery of an ice hut, or the deep roots of our Indigenous communities.
👟 All tours are free to attend and no registration is required. Just show up, bring your curiosity, and enjoy the walk!
