THE CREDITS is Heritage Mississauga’s annual signature event honouring members of the Mississauga community for their outstanding contributions and achievements. For more than 25 years, Heritage Mississauga has recognized “Heritage Heroes” whose dedication, leadership, and community spirit help shape our city’s story. For the past 14 years, this celebration has taken the form of The Credits gala.

It’s your chance to recognize the individuals, groups, and organizations who have preserved, promoted, and elevated Mississauga’s rich history and heritage.

Inspired by the timeless elegance of Jane Austen on screen and the glamour of Bridgerton, this year’s theme celebrates the refinement, romance, and social spectacle of the Regency era.

Yet this is more than fiction. The Regency period coincides with the War of 1812, a defining chapter in Mississauga’s early history. Through our living history group, Thompson’s Company, this important era is brought vividly to life for contemporary audiences across the province.
