Ron Page (1925- 2014) was a prominent expert in aviation history who authored five popular aeronautical books. Ron was also a pilot during the Second World War and flew parachute drops as well as Spitfire planes.
After obtaining an Aeronautical degree at Loughborough University, graduating in 1952 with first class honours at the top of his class, Ron joined the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.
