This week Matthew interviews Ron Duquette, President & Founder of Legends Row, as they take a look back at the beginning of Mississauga’s Walk of Fame and all of the phenomenal inductees over the years, as well as the eight legends scheduled to be inducted on November 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
Ron has been a Mississauga resident for over 48 years and is the (Retired) Founder & President of Ad-Venture Communications/Ad-Venture Sight & Sound Ltd.
He is well-known and respected throughout the Mississauga communities due to his impressive and prolific resume that includes being a Founding Member of the Mississauga Symphonic Association and Mississauga Board of Trade, and the Former Chair of various Boards such as the Mississauga Sports Celebrities Dinner, Mississauga Sports Complex Foundation and Starr’s on the Credit Annual Fundraiser.
Currently Ron is the President & Founder, Mississauga’s Walk of Fame – Legends Row Board, Chair and Board Member of the Tim Horton’s Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival, Past President and Board Member of the Mississauga Arts Council , Citizen Member of the Mississauga Celebration Square Events Committee, and Citizen Member on the Board of Tourism Mississauga.
The list of Ron’s achievements contains many more volunteer and professional accolades.
Ron is a legend himself for all of his contributions to Mississauga and Heritage Mississauga is excited to partner with Ron and the Legends Row Team.
