Heritage Mississauga invites you to welcome the new season with us at the Spring Equinox Ceremony on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
This special event will be led by Knowledge Keeper Mark Sault of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, who will share teachings on renewal, balance, and connection to the land.

Mark Sault, also known as Migizi Gikinoo’amaagew Inin (“Eagle Teacher Man”), is dedicated to sharing Anishnaabe culture and traditions. After spending years learning from Wisdom Holders, he returned to his community to teach about the drum, traditional medicines, maple syrup production, and more.
The Spring Equinox marks a time of renewal and balance—come honour the changing season in this meaningful ceremony.
