COW OVER MOON THEATRE
Cow Over Moon was founded in March 1995 by a group of grade 11 and 12 students at Cawthra Park Secondary School in Mississauga. The troupe of volunteers performed adapted versions of classic fairy tales children’s stories in malls, schools and at special events in Mississauga. Since then the company has developed its unique way of retelling famous children’s stories through improvisation while delighting audiences in both Mississauga and Toronto for over 17 years.

FROG IN HAND
Frog in Hand began with a cast of frogs performing circus tricks under the artistic direction of two sisters, Noelle Hamlyn and Colleen Snell, who were one and five years old at the time. From this whimsical debut springs our firm belief that art begins in humble places – including the mud and grass of the backyard. Building on this modest foundation we have formed a diverse collective of dancers, fight choreographers, musicians, actors, spoken word poets, costume designers and visual artists who come together to create cross-disciplinary performances in unusual spaces. Our collective has national and international professional experience, having trained and performed in Canada (Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Montréal), the United States (Chicago, Miami, New York), Japan, China, Korea, India, Ireland, Israel, Australia and England. Frog in Hand has received commissions from the Canada Council for the Arts (2016), the Ontario Arts Council (2014/15/16/17), the Guelph Dance Festival, Hillside Inside Festival, Art Gallery of Ontario, Kitchener Waterloo’s Night/Shift, the Art Gallery of Mississauga, Ontario’s Culture Days, the Mississauga Waterfront Festival, Springboard Danse Montreal (2015) and the Banff Centre for the Arts (Colleen: Creative Gesture dance/Noelle: costume practicum). Frog in Hand has created and produced many dance works – mostly site specific projects incorporating theatrical and visual elements. We’ve worked in parks, gazebos, a public water fountain, staircases, an abandoned gun factory, an elevator, art galleries, street corners and various theatres. Frog in Hand incorporated as a not-for profit in 2016.

MISSISSAUGA CHORAL SOCIETY
Led by Artistic Director, Mervin William Fick, MCS Chorus is  committed to the classical choral repertoire, strong community engagement and vital educational programming. Founded in 1975 as a large (80 voice) oratorio society, the choir evolved to its current musical ensemble as a chamber choir of approximately 30 auditioned singers.
MCS Chorus offers a diversified season of extensive community engagement events, multi-generational musical education programming and ticketed concerts. MISSISSAUGA FESTIVAL CHOIR
The Mississauga Festival Choir was founded in 1984 to honour the City of Mississauga’s 10th anniversary. MISSISSAUGA POTTERS’ GUILD
The Mississauga Potters’ Guild, founded in 1978, is a non-profit volunteer organization. The Guild is run by members who have a passion for working in clay. Our members range from hobby to professional potters. The Guild has three levels of membership: General, Studio and Resident Artists. The members work together to advance the art and craft of pottery, maintain a studio with 24/7 access, offer classes and workshops for members and non-members, holds monthly meeting for members and participates in a variety of activities to showcase the work of members including exhibitions and sales. The Guild participates in community events such as Culture Days and Mississauga Waterfront Festival throughout the year. The studio is opened to the community Sunday afternoons so that anyone interested can come and experience working with clay.

MISSISSAUGA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra has been active in Mississauga since 1972.  It has been a resident tenant inside the Living Arts Centre since 1997.  The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra has grown significantly in both membership and profile, and is now proudly designated as one of Mississauga’s six pillar institutions of arts, culture and heritage. Under the direction of Maestro Denis Mastromonaco since 2013, the orchestra continues to offer entertaining and increasingly sophisticated programs from classical and popular repertoires of symphonic music performed to the highest artistic standards. With the inclusion of the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra in 2013, the organization has become the centre of classical music in Mississauga, built around the pillars of music education, performance and entertainment.

SAWITRI Theatre Group is an incorporated not-for-profit theatre organization, based in Mississauga. Its mission is to educate, inform, entertain and heal through the arts, especially theatre. SAWITRI Theatre Group collaborates with other arts organizations to present festivals and other events. SAWITRI’s projects are usually women-centric or youth focused and explore issues surrounding identity, relationships, self-image and self-esteem, mental health, abuse, loneliness, etc. Founded on 11th January 2003 and led by professional artists from India, SAWITRI Theatre Group started out as a project-based theatre group in 2003.

SMALL ARMS SOCIETY
The Small Arms Society (SAS) originally formed in 2008 with a core group of dedicated community-minded individuals who formed the Lakeview Legacy Community Foundation (LLCF) in response to the proposed demolition of the Small Arms Inspection Building in the Lakeview neighbourhood of Mississauga. At the time, the building was owned by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). The LLCF recognized the local and national historic importance of the building and site including the significant contribution of the women and men who worked there. Through the efforts of the LLCF and community, the City of Mississauga designated the property under the Ontario Heritage Act in the spring of 2009. In 2014 the LLCF incorporated as the Small Arms Society, a non-profit corporation under the Ontario Corporations Act to continue to represent the community in championing the preservation and adaptive reuse of the Small Arms Inspection Building into a Creative Hub. SAS believes that this important addition to the Lakeview area and surrounding communities will contribute to ongoing community revitalization and neighbourhood renewal in the area. In 2016 the City of Mississauga committed to purchase the building and five acres of adjacent land from the Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). The acquisition of the building and land was completed in the April 2017. The TRCA still owns approximately 9.7 hectares (24 acres) of property adjacent to the building and lands acquired by the City of Mississauga. SAS remains committed to working with the City, the community and key stakeholders in transforming the Small Arms Inspection Building and site into a Creative Hub and ensuring the creative and collaborative use of spaces with a dynamic mix of arts, heritage, environmental sciences and technology endeavours.

STUDIO 89
Studio.89 is a social enterprise project of YTGA. Youth Troopers for Global Awareness is a youth-led non profit mobilizing and empowering young people for social justice through the arts. Born in 2006 in Mississauga, Ontario, YTGA was founded by a group of very passionate students determined to bring about awareness of global and local issues through creative writing, visual art, theatre, and spoken word. We aim to be accessible and inclusive to all youth, all over the world! The Studio.89 space & revenues support our programming. Studio.89 is not your average cafe. To begin with, we are a non profit organization. We provide a free space for events, workshops and resources. We encourage arts, activism, empowerment, & conscious consumerism with a specific focus on youth leadership, employment, and volunteerism. We aim to be all sorts of awesome by providing fair trade, organic, bird-friendly, and rain forest certified coffee, along with other ethical and yummy treats and products, the sale of which (your purchases) support our community programming! VISUAL ARTS MISSISSAUGA AT RIVERWOOD
Visual Arts Mississauga at Riverwood is a leading provider of visual arts programming for children, teens, adults and seniors. VAM’s team of artist instructors offer over 200 classes, workshops, and camps. Courses and workshops cover all levels and mediums – acrylic, oil, watercolour, drawing, clay, wire sculpture and mixed media over 10, 8 and 4 week sessions. VAM also hosts special workshops and exhibitions by VAM member artist groups throughout the year. Major events include Art in the Park (September), the Holiday Artisan Marketplace (November), the Annual Juried Show hosted by the Art Gallery of Mississauga, now in its 38th year (January), the Members’ Show & Sale (March), the Children’s Art Celebration (June). The VAM Gallery hosts member exhibitions September-June.
