As part of the Canada Pavilion at Carassauga 2025, we’re teaming up with Tim Hortons to bring you the ultimate contest celebrating Canadian pride – and coffee! Show us your love for Tims and Canada by snapping a fun, creative photo at your local Tim Hortons and tagging us online.

Prize:
One (1) winner will receive 10 Tim Hortons gift cards valued at $100 each, for a total of $1,000.

Deadline to enter: May 15, 2025

How to Enter:

1. Take a photo or selfie outside or inside your favourite Tim Hortons location.
2. Be creative – show your Canadian spirit!
3. Include a sign or hashtag that shows your location (e.g. #TimHortonsCalgary).
4. Post your photo and tag @carassaugacanada and @TimHortons on Instagram or Facebook.
5. Make sure your post is public so we can see it!

• Open to Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) aged 18 and over.

As part of the Canada Pavilion, Carassauga 2025, and it’s partnership with Tim Hortons, Tim Hortons is providing the chance to win ten (10) $100 Tim Hortons gift card(s) for a total value of $1,000 (“Tim Hortons Coffee for a Year”).

CONTEST ELIGIBILITY – May 15 deadline

The Canada Pavilion has full discretion in applying the following criteria in awarding the ten (10) $100 Tim Hortons gift card(s) for a total value of $1,000 (“Tim Hortons Coffee for a Year”).

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of May 1, 2025.
• Participants must be a resident of Canada, excluding Quebec.
• Contestants who complete and submit a photo as per contest details will be formally entered into the judging process.
• To win, participants must have submitted a photo as per contest details.
• Board members, employees and their immediate families of Heritage Mississauga are not eligible to participate.

CONTEST DETAILS

1. Participants must submit their photo by: Posting on social media, tagging @TimHortons and @carassaugacanada with the hashtag #TimHortons[CityName].
2. Snap a photo or selfie at your favorite Tim Hortons location. Photo can be taken inside or outside as long as we can identify where you are.
3. Be creative, show us your Canadian pride, photograph the family, your team, club or just you. We want to see it all. Remember to include a sign to tell us where you are. Signs can be hand drawn, computer generated or anything that tells us where you are located.
4. Create a hashtag with your location (e.g., #TimHortonsCalgary).
5. By submitting, participants confirm they have read and agreed to the contest rules and consent to the use of their image.

CONTEST JUDGING

Photos will be judged by a panel, based on creativity and showing true Canadian pride. Be creative, ensure that your photo has a sign indicating your location.

• Creativity and originality of the photo
• How well the photo showcases Canadian pride (e.g., Canadian landmarks, flags, cultural symbols, creative storytelling)
• Clear indication of location (via a sign, recognizable background, or text overlay)

PRIZE:

• Ten (10) $100 Tim Hortons gift card(s) for a total value of $1,000 (“Tim Hortons Coffee for a Year”).
• Winners will be contacted through social media with the subject line “Canada Pavilion Contest Winner”. You will be required to provide your address through email correspondence for mailing purposes only to receive your prize.

PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZE(S)

• Canada Pavilion will contact the winner to notify them of their prize during the week of June 1^st, 2025.
• The winner will receive their prize through the mail and must accept their prize as awarded.

GENERAL RULES

• By participating in this contest, contestants consent to the use of their name, voice, resemblance, photograph and/or image without compensation, whether online, in print, or in any other media, in connection with contest publicity and/or any aspect of the Canada Pavilion and Tim Hortons. Participants waive all rights, including moral rights, in this respect.
• If taking a photo inside a Tim Hortons, avoid capturing other customers or staff unless they have given explicit permission. Participants are responsible for ensuring any recognizable individuals in their photos have consented to being featured.
• By entering, contestants release and hold harmless Tim Hortons and the Canada Pavilion and their officers, employees, board members and agents from any and all liability, claims, and actions of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or any prize won.
• When submitting via social media, ensure your account is public so we can contact you if you win.
• The prize must be accepted as awarded may not be exchanged. No substitutions will be allowed. All ten (10) $100 gift card(s) for a total value of $1,000, cannot be exchanged and/or substituted for any cash value.
• Winners will be notified via direct message on social media or by email. Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize, or an alternate winner will be selected.
• Canada Pavilion judging panel will select the winning photo from all entries submitted based on the criteria. Canada Pavilion shall assume no liability for losses, delays, errors, malfunction, damage or any other issue that may occur during collection, retention or processing of the ballots.
• The Canada Pavilion reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, amend or suspend this contest at any time without notice. The published contest schedule and rules are subject to change at any time and without notice.
• The Canada Pavilion reserves the right to disqualify from this contest and any future contests or other promotions conducted by the Canada Pavilion, any individual that they find or believe to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest, to be acting in violation of the official rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
