Since 1960, Heritage Mississauga has worked on behalf of the citizens of our community to research, record and celebrate Mississauga’s heritage. Today, we are the only independent organization devoted to heritage matters across the City.
Our committed corps of volunteers has supported staff to build Heritage Mississauga (from a small citizen group which successfully preserved the Bradley House), into an organization which today is respected for its professional research, publication and outreach programming. As you navigate our website, you will discover details about our special events, our heritage services and various outreach programs.
Like all not-for-profits, Heritage Mississauga continues to grow through attracting new volunteers, members and donors who believe in our passion. We believe nurturing our unique local heritage is necessary in order to build a thriving community to which everyone feels an emotional connection and a “sense of place”.
