Heritage Cafe 2013
Change of Program Notice

June 13th 2013

Change of Program Notice

The Heritage Café that was to meet on Thursday, June 13th, 7pm at the C Café has been cancelled. The presentation was to have featured George Hunter, the renowned location photographer and Mississauga resident. Sadly, George Hunter recently passed away, and we extend our condolences to his family and friends. Although the meeting of the Heritage Café will not take place on June 13, we do look forward to exploring and celebrating his life and work in the future.

Mr. Hunter was an iconic figure in the field of photography and well recognized and respected in Mississauga and throughout Canada. Examples of his work can be found at the National Art Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Art Gallery of Mississauga, amongst many, many other collections.

The Heritage Café scheduled for June 13th is cancelled with much regret. The public is invited to view an exhibit of George Hunter’s work at the Art Gallery of Mississauga.
