Make a Difference to your community – Volunteer!

Heritage Mississauga is dedicated to providing opportunities to contribute to the community through volunteering.  We value the time and skills each of our volunteers brings to our programs and events.  We have great fun at all of the events we host and attend, meeting people who are interested in Mississauga’s heritage. What skills do you have to offer?  Do you like organizing events, being part of a marketing team, organizing logistics, office administration, researching local family histories, or are you interested in leading a team?  Please consider joining us.  Whether you have a few days or only a few hours, working with the Heritage Mississauga team is a rewarding experience, supporting the preservation of our city’s rich and unique history.

Consider working with a Committee supporting their goals.  Each Committee is chaired by a member of the Board of Directors and has specific functions focused to meet the goals of the organization.

There are many opportunities for students to earn their required 40 volunteer hours with Heritage Mississauga.  Students will have the opportunity to work with trained professionals in every facet of event development and programming as well as research and design.

We encourage all of our volunteers to join the organization as members.  Your support is appreciated.  Please fill out the attached form and email it to our volunteer coordinator Jane Watt at info@heritagemississauga.org.

Thank you for considering Heritage Mississauga for your volunteer experience.
