If a corporation wishes to contract Heritage Mississauga to undertake specific research projects, the Staff of Heritage Mississauga can undertake research studies to assemble heritage information and images on a fee-for-service basis. The charge for this service is $20.00 per hour. The first hour of any research or information request is free. There is an additional charge for images if they must be procured from an outside informational repository. The fees for these images vary depending on the associated costs of each institution. There is a $15.00 per-image fee from Heritage Mississauga if the selected images are property of Heritage Mississauga. Pictures will be provided in a high resolution scan, .tif format. Pictures will not be acquired without prior approval of the client.
Information and images will be provided either electronically or on compact disk. Heritage Mississauga can provide a print version if desired by the client.
Heritage Mississauga will also bill for travel time, if travel is required for research visits to informational repositories, site visits, or oral history interviews at a rate of $0.45 per km.
Heritage Mississauga will provide a cost estimate before undertaking any research project, and provide a project timeline. Heritage Mississauga will issue an invoice when the research project is completed.
