Emerging Artists Exhibit

“Emerging Artists”
June 13 to July 28, 2017

Opening reception: Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Grange
(1921 Dundas Street West, Mississauga)

Heritage Mississauga is delighted to host a new art exhibit presented by Lorraine Ireland.

Lorraine Ireland is pleased to present an “Emerging Artists” exhibit at The Grange.

Whether creative minds get together at a friend’s, at an art class, or at a ’plein air’ event, wonderful art is often the outcome. Age, background, or economic situation is not considered – just a love of making art! This exhibit showcases the work of Lorraine’s group of  very talented people emerging into the art world and their beautiful drawings, paintings and photographs.

The exhibit features the work of local artists Evelyn John, Peter Munavish, Cathy Badeau, Karen Kowal, Patricia Norman, John Cowley, Marlene Rohal, Irena Fedchun, Elena Chkarouba (Lena Remmer), Hans Klaassen, Denise Declerc-Leroux, Paulette Gougeon and Lorraine Ireland.

Special thank you to Victoria Loconte, Alexandra Walker and Lynda Yao for the installation of the exhibit.

Free admission. The exhibit is open from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, and until 8 pm on select Tuesdays. Please contact Heritage Mississauga at 905-828-8411 ext.29.

The exhibit will be closed on the following Tuesday evenings: June 27 and July 4.

The exhibit will be open on Saturday, July 8 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
