Christmas Open House and 12th Annual Carolling at The Grange

Heritage Mississauga invites you to our first Christmas Open House on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 from 10 am to 8 pm at "The Grange" (1921 Dundas Street West).

Drop in during the day for light refreshments, nibbles and holiday cheer!

•    Visitors can tour "The Grange", a historic house built c1828
•    Visit a new exhibit, "A Jolly Slovak Christmas" from the Slovak Canadian Heritage Museum in the Discovery Centre Gallery
•    Meet with Heritage Mississauga staff 
•    Explore the Resource Centre
•    Enjoy heritage presentations

10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Drop-in open house, refreshments - Free! Bring the family, built a snowman, enjoy holiday cheer!

12:30 - 1:30 pm
"Myth and History Combine: The Origins of Santa Claus"
With Matthew Wilkinson, Historian, Heritage Mississauga

"Deck the Halls: Origins of Christmas Traditions"

6:30 - 7:00 pm
Launch and viewing of Heritage Mississauga’s new 30-minute video

7:00 - 8:00 pm (or a bit later!)
Traditional Fireside Christmas Carolling - our 12th annual "Carolling at The Grange" evening!
This year featuring both traditional English and Slovak Christmas Carols

We look forward to welcoming you  to this FREE event; the coffee’s always on and light refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable donation for the Deacon’s Cupboard Food Bank to help those less fortunate at this holiday time.
