Art Exhbiit from Angelia McCarter

Heritage Mississauga is delighted to host a new art exhibit
in the Lower Hall Gallery at The Grange

“Reflections”
Original artwork from Angelia McCarter
May 2 to July 28, 2017

Born in the Kawarthas, Angelia McCarter grew up on the outskirts of Bobcaygeon (Trent Lakes), at the North end of Pigeon Lake. As a young girl she spent most summers, and frequent visits throughout the seasons, at her grandparents’ farm and ranch near the creek that flows into Pigeon Lake.

Angelia is creative and passionate about her art, and is inspired by natural landscapes and her love of the outdoors. In her studio she uses her self-taught techniques to mix acrylic on canvas, as well as texture acrylic to create her art. Her easel and brush frequently travel outdoors to unique locations, as well as drawing on memories from canoeing and camping.

This is the first time that Angelia has shown her work.

Art work is available for sale. Free admission. The exhibits are open from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, and until 8 pm on select Tuesdays.
